What the Ladybird Heard - written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated Lydia Monks. A great children's book featuring funny farm animals and cunning robbers who's attempt to steal a farmers prize Cow only to have their plans scuppered by a glittery Ladybird and her band of farm animal friends. Wonderful illustrations as well as lots of bright colours and textures are incorporated to give the illustrations a wonderfully tactile feel - a really fun read!
